This project involves an inter-company business process automation between two group companies operating under a common parent organization.

The objective of the project is to automate the material requisition, approval workflow, inter-company purchasing and sales transactions, and logistics planning.

The process starts with Material Requisition (MR) and follows a structured approval workflow. Upon final logistics approval, the system automatically generates Purchase Orders (PO) and corresponding Sales Orders (SO) across group companies.

Further, Advance Planning and Scheduling (APS) ensures optimized vehicle utilization and accurate material dispatch planning.

This automation minimizes manual intervention, improves traceability, and ensures seamless coordination between execution and manufacturing units.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Understood and validated end-to-end inter-company business flow within the ERP system.
  • Performed functional testing of Material Requisition (MR) creation and schedule mapping.
  • Tested approval workflows including Manager, Technical, and Logistics approvals.
  • Verified automatic PO and SO generation after logistics approval.
  • Validated Advance Planning and Scheduling (APS) for vehicle and quantity allocation.
  • Executed integration testing across group companies and branches.
  • Identified, logged, and tracked defects related to approvals, document flow, and automation.
